Collect Backpacks

When you sign up to be a collection site we will provide you with Mission Backpack “luggage” tags (right) so that each donor can write personal notes and attach them to their backpacks. Order free luggage tags and 11x17 posters when you sign up online to be a collection site.

Signing up as a Mission Backpack collection site will also give you the option of listing your collection location under the "Drop-Off Backpacks" link.

Advance planning will help make your Mission Backpack collection a success.

• Order materials for your collection when you sign up above to be a collection site
• Set a goal for your collection
• Find partners to help you organize and lead your collection (other churches and organizations)
• Secure highly visible drop off box sites for your collection
• Be creative about how you build excitement for your collection
• Suggest a $2 per backpack donation to offset shipping costs
• Contact local TV, radio, and newspaper to publicize the collection
• Set a prayer dedication for your collection before shipping them to us
• Fill out the online shipping form and ship your backpacks to us
• Publicize your results and express appreciation for everyone's participation
• Travel with us to deliver the backpacks and/or encourage others to travel
